Summary:
Exercise in Pregnancy is designed to give you real clarity about what is safe and what is required around keeping fit and strong. Birth is a marathon, even for the rapid ones, so you need to be fit mentally and physically. We marry the two areas together to give you real support. They are fun, can be done with a partner and help you create a relationship with your body that is crucial to being bodily aware during your birth. To rest and put your feet up before a marathon such as birth would be ridiculous, so get prepared. This important time will also influence your recovery and a pregnant woman needs to feel strong and confident to cope well with pregnancy, birth and motherhood.

Carlotta Newbury – Craig’s wide ranging knowledge

Carlotta Newbury.jpgI got to know Craig well over the years as he helped me overcome a variety of issues and get me back on the path to health. When my husband and I decided to try for a baby we found Craig’s wide ranging knowledge in nutrition and all things physiological (the role of hormones, the importance of clearing the body of toxins, re-aligning my body, to name but a few) very useful in helping us prepare for conception and pregnancy. During our pregnancy he has been vital in keeping common pregnancy problems at bay – from back and pelvic aches and constipation to ensuring the right vitamin and mineral supplements.

A champion for getting women to trust their bodies during pregnancy and births, he has been an interesting and welcomed counterpart to the medical system most of us assume is the right or the only way things can be done. It has been a pleasure to share the journey of our first pregnancy with Craig and we would warmly recommend him to anyone wishing to have a healthy, natural pregnancy and birth.
