Preparation in Pregnancy (The Other Antenatal Class)

At Pregnancy and Preparation we know that whatever challenge you take on in life preparation is the key to success. Your normal antenatal classes will cover lots of subjects including pain relief, terminology such as what is a vonteuse, epidural etc. They will also cover signs of labour and discuss basic things you need to know. They are very useful but we believe that for such an important role as parenting you need much more. The Other Antenatal Class will cover subjects like nutrition, emotions, communication, positions in labour, breastfeeding, what to do in preparation for baby coming home and much more.

In the past, women always had support around this time, however today this is severely lacking. This leads women to be anxious and less confident of their own abilities. Could this be a major factor in the high incidence of caesarian and assisted deliveries? Whether you are wanting to get pregnant, or happily enjoying your pregnancy, please listen to our audio below that explain the course aims for mums, dads and babies.
